Entertainment:

Nightly performances by our resort band are complemented by world-class themed shows presented throughout the week. The various live performances and dance shows cater to a wide range of tastes, with local Mauritian Sega shows being a popular attraction. Our knowledgeable staff is on hand to offer advice on cultural activities and places of interest to visit and can put you in contact with specialist excursion planners.

Sport & Leisure:

Golf Club, Enjoy complimentary green fees at Ile Aux Cerfs, designed by Bernhard Langer, and with an IMG layout. The course routing passes through mangrove forests, past shimmering tidal pools and over rugged volcanic lava outcrops. The boat ride to the golf course is itself an experience.

Spa
Relax at the Cinq Mondes Spa and enjoy hammam, singles and couples treatment rooms, a dedicated shiatsu treatment area and a fully equipped hair salon.

Fitness

The 300sqm air-conditioned fitness centre has a martial arts area that caters for a range of styles, and interactive indoor cycling with virtual landscape rides through a selection of the world’s best cycle routes.

A variety of land activities are also available, including six floodlit artificial grass tennis courts with individual, group and kids’ initiation lessons available.

Water sports include kayaking, snorkelling, windsurfing, sailing and more. Submarine dives and dolphin-discovery excursions are a must on your holiday.

Visit the Back River National Park, the largest protected forest in Mauritius, for wonderful picnic spots and hiking trails. Hunting is offered from June to September at Wolmar.

We have 248 charming ground floor rooms, beautifully appointed in thatched cottages that open privately onto our lush palm-grove and the turquoise sea beyond. Room sizes vary from 25m2 to 78m2 and all rooms come with either king-size or twin beds, LED Flat screen TVs with satellite channels in 4 languages, bathrooms with separate bath, shower and toilet, individually controlled air conditioning, electronic room safes, tea and coffee making facilities, furnished private terraces, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Garden Bungalow (25m2)

Facing the resort’s lush coconut grove, these rooms offer a convivial and cosy atmosphere in thatched and grounded bungalows with a private patio.

Garden Family Bungalow (50m2)

Connecting Garden bungalows, each with their own private facilities including bathroom and terrace. Includes amenities and attention for kids, such as kids bathrobes and bath products, special mini-bar items, bathroom step for easy access to vanity.

Premium Garden Bungalow (25m2)

Unique semi-detached thatch roofed bungalows, each with its own furnished terrace offering sea view, located far from the main building in an extensive tropical garden with one of the largest coconut palm plantations on the island. These rooms occupy a place of privacy and tranquillity with additional facilities including in-room espresso machine replenished daily, Bluetooth sound system compatible to all enabled devices.

Beach Pavillion (35m2)

Individual single Pavilions each with their own private terrace located only metres away from the beach, offering uninterrupted views of the lagoon and the sea.

Deluxe Beach Pavillion Family (70m2)

2 connecting Pavilion rooms, each with their own private facilities including large bathroom and terrace, including amenities and attention for kids, such as kids bathrobes and bath products, special minibar items, bathroom step for easy access to vanity.

Senior Suite (78m2)

Personalised service in our elegant tropical luxury ground floor suite, located in a unique individual thatched roof Pavilion. With the Suite, comes your private Gazebo on the beach; equipped with a mini-bar, and a phone. It also provides an array of services all assisted by your private butler.

Children & Teenagers:

Children
The La Pirogue Sun Kids Club offers a world of fun and entertainment for kids from ages 2-11 years. Your young ones will be entertained and well taken care of with fun activities, special menus, buffets and barbecues specifically prepared for the kids and available 12 hours a day. Children of 2-3 years old need to be accompanied by a parent or a babysitter. Professionally trained nannies are available on request, at a fee.
Teenagers
Our Teens Club is the ideal meeting place for guests aged 12 to 17 and offers an array of sports activities, outings, excursions and special evenings for teenagers so that they can chill, make friends and give you a well-deserved break.
